Job summary

EY is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer for their Dublin office. As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the AI & Data team to deliver transformative AI solutions. Key responsibilities include designing and deploying AI systems that cater to clients' complex needs, optimizing AI integrations, and mentoring client teams.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in AI/ML engineering and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills, enabling them to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of AI/ML engineering experience required for Senior Manager role.
• Experience with Python in production environments is necessary.
• Deep knowledge in NLP/transformers, generative models, and classical ML.
• Hands-on experience with model training or fine-tuning is essential.
• Experience in consulting or significant management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to translate business challenges into AI solutions.
• Design and implement AI architectures including data ingestion and model selection.
• Integrate AI components with existing client systems and optimize them.
• Monitor model performance and provide technical training to clients.
• Contribute to internal playbooks, reference implementations, and support pre-sales.
