Job summary

Company Details Confidential is seeking 3 Concrete Shuttering Carpenters to construct, install and dismantle formwork for concrete structures on site in Ireland. The role requires precise measurements, strong carpentry skills, and strict adherence to safety procedures.

You will read drawings, measure and cut timber and related materials, install shuttering for foundations, walls, beams and slabs, and ensure formwork is aligned and secure before pouring concrete.

Qualifications

• Experience as Shuttering Carpenter/Formwork Carpenter.
• Ability to read construction drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Knowledge of concrete formwork and shuttering techniques.
• Familiarity with PPE and construction site safety.
• Desirable: carpentry/formwork qualification or apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, and assemble timber, plywood, steel for formwork.
• Construct and install shuttering for foundations, walls, columns, beams, slabs.
• Ensure formwork is level, plumb, and securely supported.
• Install supports and props for stability.
• Assist with pouring concrete and keep formwork secure.
• Dismantle shuttering after curing.
• Maintain tools and report hazards.
• Work with site managers and other crew.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Complete work to high standard meeting deadlines.
