Company Details Confidential on Upper Main Street, Ballyporeen, Co. Tipperary is seeking a skilled Formwork Carpenter to set, install and align concrete formwork systems in line with drawings and specifications.

This role requires practical knowledge of concrete placement and structural assembly, along with a strong safety focus and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will read construction drawings, prepare formwork, install reinforcement, coordinate with site

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in formwork, concrete construction.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction specifications.
• Practical knowledge of concrete placement and structural assembly processes.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set out, install, and align concrete formwork systems in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Install reinforcement components, bracing systems, and structural fixings for concrete construction.
• Prepare, assemble, and secure formwork and shuttering elements prior to concrete placement.
• Assist with concrete pours, including vibration, levelling, and finishing activities.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and technical specifications.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure structural accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Operate tools, equipment, and temporary works systems safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with site managers and other trades to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
