Job summary

Grassland Agro in Slane, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our manufacturing operation. You will operate front loaders and forklifts to unload products from ships, load trucks, and keep the dock area clean and safe.

Responsibilities include efficient cargo handling, adherence to health and safety protocols, and flexibility for weekend or shift work during busy periods. Fluent English and a valid permit to work in Ireland are essential.

Responsibilities

• Unload products from incoming ships using front loaders and forklifts.
• Ensure careful handling of cargo to prevent damage.
• Safely load trucks and lorries, optimizing space.
• Maintain dock area cleanliness and organization.
• Follow Health & Safety protocols and report equipment issues promptly to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to hazard identification and mitigation.
• Other tasks as required.
