Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics in Naas is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support international and domestic cargo handling safely and efficiently.

You will load/unload cargo, check cargo condition, and maintain records while following strict health and safety rules. A Counterbalance Forklift Certificate and good English communication are essential, with training provided where needed.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and handle international import, export, and domestic cargo safely and efficiently.
• Check and document cargo condition on arrival, reporting damages or irregularities.
• Complete warehouse documentation accurately and maintain operational records.
• Carry out visual inspections and pre-operational checks on equipment and report faults.
• Assess trailers before loading to ensure safety and suitability for operation.
• Complete loading/unloading manifests and paperwork; training provided.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and comply with IMDG and ADR requirements; training provided.
• Adhere to company security, quality, and operational standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Demonstrate responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
• Support the team in meeting customer requirements and service expectations.
