Job summary

Glanua seeks a Foreman to lead on-site teams at Castlerea WTP, Co. Roscommon. You will work on multiple projects, ensuring HSQE standards and sustainability on-site.

Ideal candidates have experience in similar roles, with Safe Pass and Manual Handling, plus a full driving licence. Monday–Friday, with a fully expensed vehicle, 23 days leave and 10 bank holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within the construction/industrial sector.
• Experience on Irish Water projects is advantageous.
• Manual Handling and Safe Pass are required.
• Strong leadership and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on-site as part of a 'one team' culture.
• Ensure HSQE standards and sustainability policies are followed.
• Familiar with HSQE systems and current statutory requirements.
• Cover day-to-day operations if the project manager is absent.

Role: Foreman

Location Base: Castlerea Wtp Co. Roscommon

Salary: Competitive

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team in the delivery of one or more projects at any one time, embracing the ethos of a “one team” culture.
• Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards, policies and procedures are always adhered to on-site.
• Be familiar with the HSQE managements system and procedures in conjunction with the current statutory requirements.
• Be available and willing to provide coverage should the project manager be absent for any reason, assuming the role of managing the day-to-day operation

of the site.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Experience in a similar role within the industry
• Experience on Irish Water projects a distinct advantage
• Manual Handling and Safe Pass required
• Basic understanding of health and safety standards and the ability to embrace the safety ethos of the organisation
• Ability to work on your own initiative, strong leadership and problem solving qualities
• Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to the successful delivery of projects
• Full Driving Licence.
