The Killarney Avenue Hotel division of the O'Donoghue Ring Collection is seeking an F&B Duty Manager to oversee daily Food & Beverage operations and lead a fast-paced team in a premier hospitality setting in Killarney, Ireland.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure exceptional guest service, manage events, and uphold quality standards across all dining and bar outlets while maintaining safety and compliance during shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in F&B management within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and service orientation.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the F&B department within the hotel.
• Lead, support and be hands-on with the F&B team to ensure service excellence.
• Manage all functions and events and ensure proper setup as requested by customers.
• Maintain quality and standards across all F&B outlets.

The team at the Killarney Avenue Hotel is currently recruiting an F&B Duty Manager to join their team. This is a full-time position, reporting to the General Manager, the F&B Duty Manager will oversee the daily running of the Food & Beverage operations within the Hotel.

What you will do:

• The F&B Duty Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department.
• You will assist and support the F&B team when required and ensure exceptional customer service is delivered.
• Manage all functions and events and ensure they are set up as requested by the customer.
• Make sure quality and standards are met consistently throughout all Food & Beverage outlets.
• Lead, motivate and support the F&B team to deliver a high standard of service.
• Ensure all Food & Beverage operations run efficiently and effectively throughout each shift.
• Monitor service standards and ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Anticipate guest needs, and proactively manage their expectations.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
• Attention to detail is required to ensure our guests have an excellent dining and service experience.

About you:

• Experience as a Food & Beverage Manager, Supervisor or Duty Manager within a fast-paced Hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge and experience across Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, bars and functions.
• Experience leading, supporting and being hands-on with an F&B team.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
• Degree in Hospitality Management is an advantage.
• Fluent in English is essential.
