Job summary

Vickerstock, in partnership with a fast-growing FMCG manufacturer based in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement.

You will oversee daily production activities, guide production teams, and ensure schedules are met with high quality and efficiency. The role offers a salary of €55,000+ depending on experience, 20 days annual leave, a company pension after probation, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Production Manager or similar manufacturing leadership role.
• Experience within food, beverage, nutrition, or FMCG manufacturing environments is desirable.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production operations across all manufacturing areas.
• Lead, motivate, and develop production teams to achieve performance targets.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
• Monitor productivity, labour utilisation, and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, health & safety, and company procedures.
• Work closely with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and NPD teams.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage production KPIs and provide regular performance reporting.
• Support staff training, development, and performance management.
