Job summary

Avoca Mount Usher in Wicklow is seeking part-time café staff to join our busy team. You will deliver friendly customer service, prepare coffees, and assist with food service at Avoca Mount Usher. The role requires reliability, strong interpersonal skills, and flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person and on the phone.
• Barista duties: making coffees and serving fresh food.
• Operate till + manage queues efficiently.
• Restock and maintain retail dept to Avoca standards.
• Follow opening/closing procedures with line manager guidance.
• Keep store clean and tidy according to brand guidelines.
• Take on ad-hoc tasks as directed by management.

We are recruiting for experienced food handlers to work part-time in our café (16 hours per week) in our location at Avoca Mount Usher.

Duties include:

• Customer Service – A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person and via phone
• Barista – making coffees, serving fresh food to customers.
• Till use – scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
• Replenishing stock, ensuring the retail department is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager
• Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and in keeping with Avoca brand standard
• Ad-hoc duties outlined by your manager
