Job summary

Avoca Ireland is recruiting for an experienced cafe team member to work part-time at Avoca Mount Usher. The role is 16 hours per week, with duties spanning customer service, barista tasks, till use, stock replenishment, and opening/closing duties.

The ideal candidate has cafe experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive, customer-focused attitude. Flexible availability on weekdays and weekends is required to fit our busy cafe schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy cafe environment.
• Barista experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Motivated, self-driven and customer-focused.
• Flexible and available for both weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in person and via phone.
• Barista duties including making coffees and serving fresh food.
• Operate till, process payments, manage queues.
• Restock and align with Avoca brand standards.
• Open and close duties as directed by your line manager.
• Keep the store clean and tidy.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed.

We are recruiting for experienced food handlers to work part-time in our cafe (16 hours per week) in our location at Avoca Mount Usher.

Duties include:

• Customer Service - A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person and via phone
• Barista - making coffees, serving fresh food to customers.
• Till use - scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
• Replenishing stock, ensuring the retail department is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager
• Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and in keeping with Avoca brand standard
• Ad-hoc duties outlined by your manager
