Job summary

Ryanair, Europe’s Favourite Airline, invites applications for a Flight Planner based in Swords, Dublin. The role sits in our Operations Control Centre and is a 9–12 month maternity cover contract.

It operates on a 4 on / 4 off shift including night shifts, with a starting package of €40,000 per annum plus a €6,000 annual bonus, rising to €45,000 with the same bonus after 12 months. In this role you will develop and implement flight planning solutions, monitor production, prepare crew paperwork

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills and outgoing personality
• Computer literacy helpful for flight planning tasks (MS Word/Excel/Netline)

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing solutions for day to day Flight Planning problems
• Assisting Flight Operations with cost effective solutions to disruptions/delays
• Monitoring flight plan production
• Compilation of reports as required
• Monitoring ATC messages and reacting accordingly
• Preparation of flight planning paperwork for crews
• Updating route manuals/catalogue
• Updating Aircraft Performance Data
• Any other duties as requested by Operations Control Management
• Adaptable to a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern with night work as required

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Flight Planner to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group.

This role will be a 9 – 12 month maternity cover contract.

This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within the next 10 years.

Based in our head office in Airside Business Park in Swords, the successful candidate will work in our Operations Control Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to join Europe’s leading airline and to gain experience in a busy working environment.

*This is a shift based position on a ‘4 on / 4 off’ basis and would include night shifts*

Starting package of €40,000 p/a plus an additional €6,000 annual performance based bonus.

Package increases to €45,000 p/a after 1 year plus €6,000 bonus.

Duties Will Include (but Not Limited

• Developing and implementing solutions for day to day Flight Planning problems
