Job summary

Grand Hotel Malahide is seeking an experienced Hotel Receptionist to join our front office team on a full-time permanent basis from March. You will greet guests, manage check-ins/outs with Opera Cloud, and coordinate guest requests across departments.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in a busy hotel reception, strong communication skills, and a commitment to high standards of service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience as hotel receptionist.
• Good knowledge of Opera PMS/Opera Cloud.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and explain hotel facilities.
• Check in and out guests using Opera Cloud.
• Coordinate with departments for guest requests (dining, taxis, etc.).
• Post charges to guest rooms accurately and timely.
• Notify Duty Manager of guest queries or issues.
• Handle cash, foreign currency, and safe deposits.
