Job summary

Bluebird Care Ireland is seeking Healthcare Assistants/Homecare Assistants to support clients in Gorey and surrounding areas in their own homes. You will travel between clients, delivering care per personalised plans, usually one hour per visit.

Roles involve personal care, medication prompts, meal prep, mobility support and companionship, with enhanced pay €14.15–€16.00 per hour based on experience and QQI qualifications.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Care of the Elderly and Care Skills, or willingness to complete with support.
• Full driving licence and own car.
• Based in or near Gorey, County Wexford.
• Legal right to work in Ireland; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Personal care, including washing and dressing.
• Medication prompts and reminders.
• Meal preparation and light housework.
• Mobility support and companionship.
• Noticing and reporting changes in a client’s wellbeing.
