Job summary

Strata Financial is looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented bookkeeper to support a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll manage client accounts, perform bookkeeping and payroll tasks, and work closely with Managers to grow your career within a fast-growing firm.

You'll handle records, bank reconciliations, and compliance work using Sage, Surf Accounts and Xero, while delivering high‑quality client service across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for a portfolio of client companies.
• Record receipts, payments and financial transactions in accounting systems.
• Process transactions using Sage, Surf Accounts and Xero.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain organised and accurate bookkeeping records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare financial information and reports for management.
• Assist Managers with client accounting requirements.
• Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Build professional relationships with clients and respond to queries.
