Job summary

Aureol Global Connections is currently seeking Maintenance Fitters on behalf of Glennon Brothers Cork Ltd, Farran South, Castlelyons, Co. Cork.

This full-time role involves preventative and reactive maintenance to keep manufacturing equipment running to support production targets. Ideal candidates have time-served status with mechanical or manufacturing qualifications and at least 5 years of experience, plus familiarity with planned preventative maintenance systems and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Time-served Maintenance Fitter with mechanical or manufacturing qualifications.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar industry.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.
• Ability to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and support installation works.
• Ensure machinery operates to support production and quality targets.
• Work full-time 39 hours per week.

The role involves carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment faults, supporting installation works, and ensuring machinery operates efficiently to support production and quality targets. Candidates should be time-served Maintenance Fitters with relevant mechanical or manufacturing qualifications and at least 5 years’ experience in similar industry. Good problem-solving skills, experience with planned preventative maintenance systems, and the ability to support continuous improvement initiatives are essential. This is a full-time role of 39 hours per week with an annual salary range of €42,000-€48,000.
