Job summary

Walls Construction in Dublin is seeking a Finishing Supervisor to oversee finishing activities across site operations, ensuring quality and timely handovers. You will supervise finishing teams, manage subcontractors and coordinate with site management to deliver defect-free areas that meet client expectations.

The role emphasises health and safety, adherence to programme milestones and continuous improvement in finishing processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising finishing trades on construction projects.
• Knowledge of plastering, painting, tiling, joinery and related finishes.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multi-trade interfaces.
• Strong quality control and snagging experience.
• Sound knowledge of health & safety practices; CSCS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise finishing trades across site operations to meet standards.
• Plan and programme finishing activities with site management and subcontractors.
• Monitor daily quality, identify defects and enforce rectification.
• Mentor finishing operatives and promote continuous improvement.
• Manage subcontractor performance and raise risks to management.
• Maintain progress records, snagging registers and handover docs.
• Coordinate with clients and trades to resolve interfaces.
• Support toolbox talks and site safety compliance.
