Job summary

Glenveagh Properties PLC is seeking a Finishing Foreperson for our residential project in Ballymastone, North County Dublin. You will supervise finishing trades, coordinate snagging and site logistics, and work closely with the design team and purchasers.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree/Higher Diploma in Construction Management or equivalent trade qualification, extensive residential construction experience, and strong carpentry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree/Higher Diploma in Construction Management or equivalent trade qualification.
• Significant experience in a similar position.
• Excellent knowledge of trades, especially carpentry.
• Background in residential construction.
• Excellent working knowledge of building regulations and certification standards.
• Ability to meet demanding time and quality targets.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with design team, Site Manager and stakeholders.
• Coordinate daily resourcing and materials, complete site diary and weekly docs.
• Serve as key contact for purchasers and liaise with Sales.
• Coordinate snagging crews and ensure completion of snag lists.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental standards and high quality.
• Plan tasks and organise plant/site facilities to meet deadlines.
• Oversee subcontractors and track performance and progress.
• Maintain company policies and administration procedures.

We are currently recruiting a Finishing Foreperson for our residential project in Ballymastone, North County Dublin.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise and communicate closely with the design team, Site Manager and other stakeholders
• Coordinate the daily resourcing and control of site labour and ordering of materials, completing the online daily site diary and relevant weekly documentation in accordance with company policy
• Provide key point of contact for purchasers
• Liaise closely with Sales
• Coordinate snagging crews, overseeing effective completion of snag lists
• Carry out company compliance and administration procedures and recording performance and progress of site operations and subcontractors
• Effective planning of tasks and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet deadlines
• Ensure works are carried out in compliance with building regulations, health and safety and environmental standards and to a high quality

• Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in Construction Management and/ or equivalent trade qualification
• Significant experience in a similar position
• Excellent knowledge of trades, and in particular carpentry
• Background in residential construction
• Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
• An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets
