Job summary

The Merrion Hotel, a luxury Dublin landmark, is recruiting a full-time Chef de Partie to join our professional Kitchen Team. You will work alongside an experienced crew, receive thorough training, and contribute to Merrion Moments for our guests.

Shifts are 5 days over 7 with 39 hours per week. Salary is €18.05 per hour, with strong benefits and career development in a prestigious hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Candidates with a passion for cooking and presenting food to high standards.
• Commitment to cleanliness and an orderly workspace and the discipline to run a kitchen to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each team member is aware of responsibilities and complies with health, hygiene and safety regulations.
• Ensure Mise en Place is completed on time for service to the highest standards.
• Help prepare all orders for the fresh and dry store items required daily.
• Ensure proper rotation of stock in all refrigeration.
• Deputise in the absence of the Junior Sous chef.
