Qualifications

• Experience with accounting software packages, including cloud-based systems.
• A third-level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, Business or a related discipline.
• Be pursuing, or intending to pursue, an ACCA or CAI qualification.
• A results-oriented approach with a focus on meeting client expectations.
• An understanding of relevant accounting standards.
• The ability to monitor costs against budget.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial statements, including statutory accounts under IFRS and FRS 102, for various entities.
• Assist with delivering financial reporting services to a portfolio of clients within agreed timelines and quality.
• Provide on-site accounting support at client premises as required.
• Input client transactions into accounting systems.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for clients.
• Prepare VAT returns and Intrastat/VIES lists.
• Support tax services including registrations, deregistrations, and company secretarial activities.
• Keep the manager informed of challenges and help develop solutions.
• Ensure work is completed to standard and maintain clear records.
