Job summary

U.S. Bank in Ireland is seeking a Financial & Regulatory Reporting Senior Analyst to lead the preparation and review of fund financial statements and regulatory filings, ensuring IFRS/US GAAP compliance and risk management.

You will collaborate with auditors, investment managers, and internal stakeholders to deliver timely, high-quality reporting. The role requires 5 years’ experience in funds financial and regulatory reporting, a relevant degree, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Accounting, finance or business degree; part/qualified accountant desired.
• 5 years’ experience in Funds Financial and Regulatory Reporting essential.
• Ability to work in a team and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with Unity Confluence is preferable.
• End-to-end audit experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review fund annual and semi-annual financial statements under IFRS/US GAAP.
• Prepare and review financial statements workings and supporting files.
• Ensure complete disclosures in financial statements.
• Prepare delegated Fund Investment Manager regulatory filings (AIFMD Annex IV, Form PF, CPO PQR).
• Deliver high-quality service with timely completion of tasks.
• Promote a positive team environment.

Job Description

The Financial & Regulatory Reporting Senior Analyst is responsible for the preparation and review of fund financial statements and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires close collaboration with auditors, investment managers, and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, high-quality, and timely reporting, while maintaining a strong focus on risk management, quality, and client service.

Key accountabilities

• Preparation and review of fund annual and semi-annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, FRS 102 and regulatory requirements.
• Preparation and review of financial statements workings and underlying support files.
• Ensure completeness of disclosures in financial statements.
• Review and preparation of CBI third party fund regulatory filings. This includes OFI3 returns, SPV returns, Interim and Annual financial statements filings.
• Preparation and review of delegated Fund Investment Manager regulatory filings. This includes AIFMD Annex IV, Form PF and CPO PQR filings.
• Deliver high quality service through accurate and timely completion of all assigned tasks
• Promoting a positive work environment for team members.

Skills & experience required

• Accounting, finance or business degree, part/qualified accountant.
• 5 years’ experience in Funds Financial and Regulatory Reporting is essential
• Ability to work within a team environment/own initiative and to strict deadlines.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong MS Office skills, in particular Excel and Word.
• Experience using Unity Confluence preferable
• End to end audit experience preferable
• Knowledge of the relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrates initiative in undertaking tasks, recognising and following through on opportunities to deliver improved efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Attention to detail.

Additional information

• The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
• This role is a 8‑month fixed‑term contract.
