What is the Role:
The Financial Crime Fraud Intelligence team is responsible for supporting theFinancial Crime functionby analysing fraud patterns and system data to develop appropriate and dynamic rule strategies to prevent and detect fraud. Our purpose is to protect our customers and society from organised crime, and other criminal activities, through our commitment to the prevention and detection of financial crime.
The Financial Crime Senior Business analyst is a new role within FC Systems and Intelligence team. The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in strengthening AIB’s Financial Crime detection and prevention capabilities across payments and cards. This includes leading analysis and change initiatives requirements gathering, fraud‑control enhancements, regulatory‑driven updates, and system optimisation across the Financial Crime landscape.
Reporting to the Fraud Intelligence Manager, this role requires a strong fraud‑risk mindset, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable, high-quality requirements. The role holder will support AIB’s goal of delivering world‑class fraud prevention, enabling safe customer journeys and protecting the bank from emerging threats.
