Job summary

Eaton Square in Dublin is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function and support strategic decision making across the business. You will oversee the integrity of financial reporting, financial controls, and planning processes.

The successful candidate will manage month-end and year-end closes, coordinate external audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering insights to senior leadership through KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate management reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Develop, implement, and monitor robust financial controls and policies.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and risk management procedures.
• Manage cash flow, treasury and working capital requirements.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy across all accounting functions.
• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles.
• Provide detailed financial analysis, KPI reporting, and business insights.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support long-term financial planning and strategic initiatives.
