Job summary

CPL in Limerick is recruiting a Financial Accountant to join the finance team on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and cover a broad remit across accounting and finance.

The role involves preparing monthly management and financial accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, audits and compliance, cost and budget/project financials, and advising on commercial activities. Office-based in Limerick city, full right to work in Ireland required.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA preferred).
• 2–3+ years industry experience or strong audit/practice background.
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and inter-personal skills.
• Proven ability to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management and financial accounts.
• Run balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist on audit and compliance reporting.
• Oversee cost and budget/project financials.
• Provide financial guidance on commercial activities.
• Lead individual projects and support operations team.
