Job summary

Barrington James is seeking a Financial Accountant in Longford, Ireland, to support finance across costing, banking and reporting. You will work closely with production and operational teams to improve cost control, stock accuracy and business performance.

The role focuses on financial analysis, budgeting, month-end processes and variance analysis, with exposure to manufacturing environments and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
• Experience in a Management Accountant, Cost Accountant, Assistant Accountant or similar.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel.
• Manufacturing or stock-intensive experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems is desirable.
