Job summary

Deloitte Ireland is seeking a Reporting Excellence Manager within Audit & Assurance to lead engagements across four pillars of financial reporting, controls, and AI-enabled automation. You will mentor teams, engage with senior stakeholders, and ensure timely, high-quality outputs.

The role demands a qualified accountant with IFRS/FRS 102 expertise and a track record in delivering complex reporting projects.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent and substantial post-qualification experience.
• Advanced technical expertise in IFRS and/or FRS 102 (US GAAP a bonus).
• Broad understanding of finance functions: reporting process, systems, controls and outputs.
• Engagement management and delivery excellence: lead engagements from scope to sign-off, manage budgets and risks.
• People leadership and commercial acumen: lead teams, build relationships, identify opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Engagement Management & Delivery: Manage the full cycle of engagements, from scoping and planning through execution and sign-off, leading teams and budgets.
• Technical Advisory & Problem-Solving: Provide expert guidance on complex financial reporting matters, transactions and new standards.
