Job summary

PIMCO offers a 10-week Client Operations Analyst internship based in Dublin, Ireland. You will collaborate cross-functionally, build expertise in reporting, and gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools from day one.

Eligible candidates are undergraduates with a 2:1, graduating between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028, and proficient in English. Strong Excel skills and interest in finance are preferred, with some SQL/Python encouraged.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 – June 2028.
• Minimum 2:1 from an accredited university.
• Business proficient in English.
• Experience with Excel; programming skills (SQL/Python) are recommended.
• Interest in operations, financial markets, macroeconomics and investment finance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a central operational liaison focusing on the reporting process and inquiries to improve client experience using modern tools.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate client needs into meaningful plans and execute to mitigate risk and build efficiency.
• Assist in creating operational reports and driving automation to enhance reporting and communications.
• Gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools from day one, with training and resources for future-ready skills.
• Receive feedback at mid- and end-of-summer as part of a formal review process.
