Job summary

PIMCO Europe Ltd. offers a 10‑week Summer Internship in Dublin for a Trade Support Analyst. The program runs from early June to mid‑August with fundamentals training, volunteering and cross‑divisional education. You will work with Associates, Traders and Portfolio Managers to support risk management and reporting.

You’ll apply advanced Excel skills and explore Python, SQL or VBA while developing finance knowledge and professional communication in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate currently pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 – June 2028.
• Minimum predicted 2:1 from an accredited university.
• Business proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring investment objectives are reflected across portfolios in scope.
• Monitoring portfolio positions and products versus client guidelines in concert with Compliance team.
• Coordinating with Portfolio Management on re-balancing of portfolios.
• Utilizing proprietary risk systems for monitoring portfolio exposures.
• Assisting in account transitions and cash flow management.
• Conducting performance and attribution analyses.
• Responding to ad hoc requests from the Portfolio Management team.
• See yourself as a Trade Support Analyst: You’ll serve in a dynamic role alongside Associates on the team, providing key support across Portfolio Management and Trading desks.
