Job summary

PIMCO invites applicants for a Summer Internship as a Trade Support Analyst in Dublin. The role focuses on supporting portfolio management and trading activities, with emphasis on data analysis, fixed income concepts, and risk monitoring.

The program runs over about 10 weeks, offering exposure to Portfolio Management, Trading desks, and cross‑functional teams, plus mentorship and development of AI-enabled tools from day one.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date Dec 2027 – Jun 2028.
• Predicted minimum 2:1 from an accredited university.
• Business proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure investment objectives are reflected across portfolios in scope.
• Monitor portfolio positions and products against client guidelines with Compliance.
• Coordinate with Portfolio Management on re-balancing of portfolios.
• Utilize proprietary risk systems to monitor portfolio exposures.
• Assist in account transitions and cash flow management.
• Conduct performance and attribution analyses.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from Portfolio Management.
