Job summary

Engage People Recruitment in Dublin is seeking a Finance Operations Manager to own the day-to-day finance function in a hands-on role. The ideal candidate is part-qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or an experienced bookkeeper ready to step up.

You will oversee AP/AR, process invoices, reconciliations, month-end, forecasting and reporting to management, with close collaboration with external accountants. Based in Crumlin, D12, salary €55,000–€62,000.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong experience across AP, AR and general accounting.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping and double-entry accounting.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP/accounting system would be beneficial.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day finance function.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Process supplier and customer invoices and payments.
• Complete bank and account reconciliations.
• Manage supplier and customer accounts and resolve queries.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and support credit control.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and the general ledger.
• Assist with month-end and management accounts.
• Prepare financial reports for management.
• Support VAT, audit and year-end requirements.
• Assist with cash-flow management and forecasting.
• Work with external accountants and wider business teams.
• Identify and improve finance processes and controls.
