Job summary

Trading 212 Ltd. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support the Head of Finance in designing and operating the Company's Finance and Safeguarding Framework.

You will help ensure strong financial controls, safeguarding compliance, and regulatory adherence as a CB Ireland-regulated Payment Institution. Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in financial services or advisory with exposure to regulated financial institutions.
• Knowledge of safeguarding compliance and finance management frameworks for a Payment Institution.
• Experience managing third-party relationships and outsourced finance functions.
• Proven track record in financial reporting and complex reconciliations.
• Aptitude for leveraging AI tools to drive operational efficiency and process optimisation.
• Strong analytical acumen in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and right first time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily safeguarding reconciliation with four-eyes approval and risk escalation.
• Coordinate regulatory and statutory report preparation and day-to-day reconciliations.
• Produce dashboards and reports for governance committees and oversee third-party finance work.
• Facilitate internal and external audits and maintain process documentation.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.

About The Role

We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to support the Head of Finance in the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of the Company's Finance and Safeguarding Framework. As a key member of the finance function, the Finance Manager will help ensure the Company maintains a strong financial control environment, meets its safeguarding obligations, and complies with all applicable regulatory requirements. The role is central to monitoring and reporting the Company's financial position, including safeguarding arrangements, own funds requirements, and other prudential obligations associated with operating as a Central Bank of Ireland (CBI)-regulated Payment Institution.

What you'll do

• Support the HoF in maintaining and developing the Company’s FSF.
• Manage the daily safeguarding reconciliation process in collaboration with the HoF, including internal and external reconciliations, adhering to the "four-eye" approval process, and proactively highlighting potential risk issues or discrepancies for escalation.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory and statutory reports and oversee day-to-day reconciliations.
• Assist in the production of dashboards and reports for governance committees, and oversee finance-related activities performed by third parties.
• Facilitate internal and external audits, including providing timely information, managing query resolution, and maintaining process documentation.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement to enhance reporting quality and reduce manual processes.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
• Maintain a strong culture of compliance and operational excellence.

What you need to have

• Professional certifications (e.g. ACA, ACCA or equivalent) required.
• Prior experience within the financial services industry, or a comparable professional advisory background with significant exposure to regulated financial institutions, ideally within a multi-jurisdictional environment.
• Strong knowledge and experience in safeguarding compliance, regulations, and finance management frameworks within a Payment Institution or broader financial services sector.
• Experience in managing third-party relationships and overseeing outsourced finance functions.
• Proven track record in managing financial reporting and complex reconciliations.
• A demonstrable aptitude for leveraging AI tools to drive operational efficiency and process optimisation.
• Strong analytical acumen, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to a "right first time" delivery.
