Broadline Recruitment Group Ltd. is assisting a client in Ashbourne to recruit an experienced Finance Manager.

The role demands 5+ years in a senior accounting position and a hands-on, proactive approach in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will report to the Financial Controller and oversee day-to-day finance functions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification required.
• 5+ years in a senior accounting role, FMCG preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of financial and management accounting, ERP and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the Financial Controller in day-to-day finance functions.
• Oversee full accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare accurate bank reconciliations, month-end journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly management accounts, financial reports and cash flow forecasting.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial accuracy and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with policies, accounting standards and statutory obligations.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen governance.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial insight for decisions.

Role: Finance manager

Location: Ashbourne, Co Meath

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Finance Manager for one of our clients based in Ashbourne. The right candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role and will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller. We are looking for candidates with strong financial and commercial awareness and will be hands‑on in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the Financial Controller in the day-to-day management of the finance functions
• Oversee the full accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare accurate bank reconciliations, month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reports, cash flow reporting, budgets and forecasts to support business performance and decision‑making.
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure financial accuracy, effective stock control, and inventory management.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, accounting standards, statutory obligations and audit requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen financial governance.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial insight to support operational and strategic business decisions.
• Support the Financial Controller with year-end accounts, external audits and any ad hoc financial projects

Requirements:

• Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or Accounting Technician qualification with significant relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting position, in the FMCG industry is desirable
• Strong working knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, bank reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, inventory management and stock control
• Highly proficient in Microsoft excel and ERP
• Excellent organisational skills and experience working to deadlines
