Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group is seeking a Finance / Business Analyst to join a well-established company based in Wexford, Ireland. You will work across the business to support commercial and financial performance, reporting directly to the Finance Director while collaborating with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Senior Leadership to drive actionable insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3–5 years’ experience in an analytical or business intelligence role.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Power BI experience.
Strong ability to analyse and interpret business data and processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Produce timely and accurate financial, commercial, and operational reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
Analyse revenue, gross margin, operating costs, and profitability across products, customers, and regions.
Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
Build and present financial models and business cases, supporting pricing, sales, and strategic projects with detailed analysis.
Extract, validate, and analyse data from ERP, CRM, and other business systems while continually improving and automating reporting processes.
