Job summary

Virgin Media Television is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support the Finance Director in monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting and long‑range planning for VMTV. The role encompasses commercial & investment analysis, regulatory compliance and cross‑functional partnering with programming, advertising and content teams, with on‑site days at Ballymount or Macken House.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with Hyperion/Planning & HFM or similar tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, KPI packs and P&L for VMTV.
• Lead monthly forecasting, updating revenue, cost and content amortisation forecasts.
• Prepare materials for performance reviews with Finance Director, VPs and CFO.
• Analyse variances vs budget and forecast with clear commentary on drivers and trends.
• Maintain and improve reporting templates, models and dashboards.
• Lead annual budget and multiyear LRP, coordinating inputs across teams.
• Collate cost centre budget inputs ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
• Build financial models underpinning budget/LRP submissions.
• Support CEO sign-off materials and senior stakeholder presentations.
• Ensure timetables and quality control for budget/LRP processes.
• Provide analysis for regulatory bodies and ensure compliant reporting.
• Support adherence to internal controls and purchasing policies.
