Linde is seeking a financially astute professional to provide strategic input on key business decisions and manage assigned P&L areas. You will translate performance data into meaningful stories for senior partners and group executives, while driving BI innovations to improve planning and forecasting across the business.

The role requires a degree and strong accounting background (CIMA/ACA/ACCA), with commercial experience and excellent communication skills across multi-national stakeholders.

Formación

• Degree and strong accounting background (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with first-time passes preferred.
• Previous experience in a commercial, business-facing role is essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication with both financial and non-financial audiences in a multi-national organisation.
• Advanced modelling, analytical and numerical reasoning skills; knowledge of SAP S4 & IBM TM1 desirable.

What you will enjoy doing

• You will provide financial and strategic input into all key business decisions, and will review, assess and challenge business performance and identify profit improvement opportunities
• Additionally, you will assume day to day responsibility for assigned P&L areas, with a strong focus on understanding the underlying results & trends and translating this into a meaningful story that adds value to key stakeholders; specifically business partners, Senior Management and Group
• You’ll act as a business navigator who will constantly innovate new and automated ways of providing greater business intelligence both in terms of looking at past or planning for future and always challenge the business to achieve more
• You will be responsible for contributing to the overall priorities of the finance function and working together to achieve the overall finance agenda

What makes you great

• You hold a degree and a strong, proven accounting background (CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified) with first time passed preferred
• Previous experience in a commercial, business facing role is essential
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with both financial and less-financial audiences of all levels of a multi-national organisation
• Furthermore, you have advanced modelling, analytical and numerical reasoning skills with an ability to interpret complex plant and contract performance. A good knowledge of SAP S4 & IBM TM1 System is also desirable
• You have a strong drive for process innovation and superior time management skills
