Job summary

Indaver Ireland & UK MSW is seeking a Financial Accountant Assistant to support external reporting, posting GL journals and balance sheet reconciliations. You will help create pay runs and assist the Accounts Payable team, within a busy finance function based at the Dun Laoghaire site.

The role requires an accounting qualification, familiarity with SAP and Excel, and at least 2 years in a finance team handling GL tasks and VAT.

Qualifications

Degree or Accounting qualification essential.
Experience with SAP accounting systems preferred; ERP experience acceptable.
Strong MS Office and Excel skills.
Minimum 2 years in a Finance Team with general ledger responsibilities; VAT knowledge.

Responsibilities

Prepare VAT Return Report and reconcile VAT accounts in SAP.
Prepare CSO returns and coordinate with other departments.
Create/prepare pay runs for multiple entities and currencies; respond to vendor queries.
Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations and support GL balances.
Assist Accounts Payable with invoicing and vendor reconciliations; respond to auditors.
Prepare backup files for auditors and manage purchase/credit card administration.
