Job summary

Barden is partnering with a fast-growing Irish-owned business in Dublin West to hire an Accounts Assistant. This is a brand-new role in the finance team, with mentorship from day one and a clear path to grow, including alongside ACCA/ACA/CIMA studies.

You will learn the full receivables cycle, build credit control experience, handle daily bank transactions, and gain exposure to month-end close while working with an experienced finance team.

Qualifications

• Be working towards ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA
• Early in your finance career with 1+ years in a similar role is a bonus
• Strong Excel and systems skills
• Growth mindset and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Learn the full receivables cycle, from raising invoices to collecting payment.
• Build real credit control experience by keeping customer accounts on track.
• Resolve payment queries and talk to customers and colleagues across the business.
• Handle daily bank transactions and reconciliations.
• Get hands-on exposure to month-end close.
• Learn from experienced finance professionals who will support your development.
