Job summary

ManpowerGroup Ireland is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Technician who takes pride in workmanship and enjoys problem solving. This field-based role covers nationwide sites in sectors including pharmaceutical, healthcare, cleanroom, food manufacturing and retail.

You'll work on installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding, independently at client sites while supported by a technical team. Competitive pay with door-to-door pay and a company vehicle is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in automatic door installation and servicing.
• Current Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
• Full Irish or EU driving licence.
• Strong understanding of automatic door products and systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Competent with power tools and hand tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and configure automatic door systems.
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Complete service reports and compliance documentation.
• Liaise professionally with customers and site teams.
• Maintain tools, equipment and vehicle stock.
• Follow health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Keep up to date with product training and industry standards.
