Job summary

Manpower - Ireland is seeking an experienced Field Based Technician specializing in Automatic Doors to work across pharmaceutical, healthcare, cleanroom, food manufacturing and retail sites nationwide. This full-time, permanent role combines installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding, with a company vehicle, fuel card and travel allowances.

You will work independently but receive strong support from an experienced technical team, with opportunities to develop your skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in automatic door installation and servicing.
• Current Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
• Full Irish or EU driving licence.
• Strong understanding of automatic door products and systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Competent with power tools and hand tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and configure automatic door systems.
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Complete service reports and compliance documentation.
• Liaise professionally with customers and site teams.
• Maintain tools, equipment and vehicle stock.
• Follow health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Keep up to date with product training and industry standards.

We are seeking an experienced Automatic Door Technician who takes pride in workmanship, enjoys problem solving, and wants to work on a wide variety of customer sites including pharmaceutical, healthcare, cleanroom, food manufacturing and retail environments.

Enjoy a varied role with a strong mix of installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding work. You will be trusted to work independently while being supported by an experienced technical team. This position offers excellent earning potential, door-to-door pay, a company vehicle, fuel card, tools, safety equipment and opportunities to develop your technical expertise.
