Job summary
Manpower - Ireland is seeking an experienced Field Based Technician specializing in Automatic Doors to work across pharmaceutical, healthcare, cleanroom, food manufacturing and retail sites nationwide. This full-time, permanent role combines installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding, with a company vehicle, fuel card and travel allowances.
You will work independently but receive strong support from an experienced technical team, with opportunities to develop your skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in automatic door installation and servicing.
- Current Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
- Full Irish or EU driving licence.
- Strong understanding of automatic door products and systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematic diagrams.
- Competent with power tools and hand tools.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission and configure automatic door systems.
- Carry out planned maintenance and inspections.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
- Complete service reports and compliance documentation.
- Liaise professionally with customers and site teams.
- Maintain tools, equipment and vehicle stock.
- Follow health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
- Keep up to date with product training and industry standards.
