Job summary

ManpowerGroup Ireland is seeking a Field Based Technician for Automatic Doors to install, commission and maintain door systems at diverse customer sites nationwide, including pharma, healthcare, and retail environments.

You will work independently with support from an experienced team, handling fault-finding, service reports, and safety documentation while maintaining tools and equipment. A company vehicle is provided along with competitive earnings potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in automatic door installation and servicing.
• Current Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
• Full Irish or EU driving licence.
• Strong understanding of automatic door products and systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and configure automatic door systems.
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Complete service reports and compliance documentation.
• Liaise professionally with customers and site teams.
• Maintain tools, equipment and vehicle stock.
• Follow health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Keep up to date with product training and industry standards.

We are seeking an experienced Automatic Door Technician who takes pride in workmanship, enjoys problem solving, and wants to work on a wide variety of customer sites including pharmaceutical, healthcare, cleanroom, food manufacturing and retail environments.

Enjoy a varied role with a strong mix of installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding work. You will be trusted to work independently while being supported by an experienced technical team. This position offers excellent earning potential, door-to-door pay, a company vehicle, fuel card, tools, safety equipment and opportunities to develop your technical expertise.
