Job summary

ILOS New Energy Ireland Ltd. is seeking a Solar O&M Service Technician to join our on-site team in Tipperary, Ireland.

You will perform inspections, fault finding and rectification across PV assets, inverters, transformers and substations, while coordinating subcontractors and liaising with O&M teams. Ideal candidates have electrical qualifications and solar ops experience, with the ability to read drawings and technical docs, plus willingness to travel to sites for hands-on maintenance and

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications and technical education in a relevant field.
• Experience in solar operations and maintenance.
• Ability to read drawings, test records, and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine site inspections of PV arrays, inverters, transformers, substations, cabling and balance of plant equipment.
• Perform fault finding, testing, and manual rectification on solar assets and electrical systems.
• Inspect electrical installations, identify defects and complete minor corrective works.
• Support preventative and corrective maintenance, tightening, replacement and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors on site, liaising with O&M teams, OEMs and internal stakeholders.
• Attend site meetings and produce accurate service reports and test sheets.
