Job summary

Focus Resourcing partners with an established technology and infrastructure services business operating across the retail sector in Ireland. We are seeking an EPOS Field Service Engineer to join the Engineering team, with travel to multiple sites and a mix of maintenance, installations and support.

This is a varied, customer-facing role requiring 2+ years in a field-based IT services environment, excellent customer service, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a similar field-based IT services role.
• Experience working across multiple customer sites.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours and locations.
• Full, clean Irish or European driving licence.
• Right to work in Ireland, including visa where applicable.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site maintenance and technical services in line with customer requirements and scopes of work.
• Carry out projects, break/fix, IMAC activities, software upgrades and equipment decommissioning.
• Complete general remedial and shop-fitting works as required.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with Health & Safety standards.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, Helpdesk and internal teams.
• Handle payment devices following PCI and P2P requirements after training.
• Record stock usage, equipment deployment and service activity accurately.
• Complete relevant documentation and provide updates through mobile applications.
• Support additional reasonable duties as required.

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an EPOS Field Service Engineer to join their Engineering team. We're interested in hearing from experienced Field Service Engineers as well as candidates with strong technical experience looking to progress their career in a field-based role.

This is a varied, customer-facing position involving travel to multiple sites and a mix of maintenance, technical projects, installations and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver on-site maintenance and technical services in line with customer requirements and agreed scopes of work.
• Carry out projects, break/fix, IMAC activities, software upgrades and equipment decommissioning.
