ASM is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support one of our key customers at Lucan, Ireland. You'll join a diverse, global team and gain hands-on mentorship while advancing your skills in state-of-the-art semiconductor equipment.

You will receive extensive training at ASM's Global Training Center, travel internationally (primarily to the U.S. and Europe), and contribute to uptime, tool performance, and customer satisfaction through proactive service and professional communication.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Working knowledge of electrical and gas schematics.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with a safety-first mindset.
• Effective communication and ability to function within cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Solid organizational and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally (typically 75%, mainly to the U.S. & Europe).
• Must have valid authorization to work in Ireland and the EU.

Responsabilidades

• Execute installation, decommissioning, preventative maintenance, and repair of advanced electromechanical semiconductor equipment at Key Customer sites globally.
• Demonstrate ownership through troubleshooting and ensuring tools return to optimal performance.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction with timely updates and clear communication.
• Conduct structured customer training with safe, clear handovers and support.
• Represent ASM professionally through proactive communication and a solutions-oriented approach.
• Collaborate with regional and global engineering teams to share insights and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Adhere to strict safety and quality protocols for all service activities.
