Job summary

Sungrow Ireland is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to keep clean-energy systems performing at their best across Ireland. You will deliver on-site commissioning, maintenance and repair for Sungrow solar inverter and energy storage solutions, diagnose issues via remote monitoring and on-site testing, and carry out preventive maintenance to maximise availability and safety.

Qualifications

• Candidate holds an electrical engineering, electronics, renewable energy or related technical degree.
• Hands-on field service experience in commissioning, maintenance or technical support.
• Capable of reading electrical drawings and using diagnostic tools safely with low- and medium-voltage systems.
• Able to solve problems independently while keeping customers informed.
• Willing to travel regularly across Ireland and hold a valid driving licence.
• Communicates clearly in English (C1 level).

Your profile

• You hold a qualification in electrical engineering, electronics, renewable energy or a related technical field.


• You bring hands-on experience in field service, commissioning, maintenance or technical support, ideally within solar, storage or power electronics.


• You are confident reading electrical drawings, using diagnostic tools and working safely with low- and medium-voltage systems.


• You enjoy solving problems independently while keeping customers informed and supported throughout the process.


• You are comfortable travelling regularly across Ireland and hold a valid driving licence.


• You communicate clearly in English at C1 level; additional European language skills are a plus.
