Job summary

TJ O' Mahony in Limerick, part of HPC Sales Ltd., is seeking a full-time Sales Representative to join our team. You will identify leads, meet customers, and recommend building and home improvement products, providing exceptional after-sales service and support.

You will develop new business, conduct demonstrations, attend exhibitions, quote and close sales, and maintain strong supplier and customer relationships to drive revenue.

Qualifications

• Considerable experience in sales within building/home improvement sectors.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within Builder Provider/Merchant sector.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and promote products and services.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations as needed.
• Attend trade exhibitions.
• Negotiate prices, place orders, and ensure orders are processed correctly.
• Follow up on leads, prepare quotations, deliver proposals, and close sales.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Provide updates on promotions and industry trends to customers.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager and Sales Team on strategies and targets.
• Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Complete sales reports for management.
