Job summary

MDE Installations is seeking an Electrical Installer to handle domestic and commercial electrical installations and associated remedial work. You will use handheld field technology to update job details and ensure high-quality customer service while complying with all MDE Health and Safety procedures.

As an Approved Installer, you will work both independently and as part of a team, following verbal and written instructions and maintaining safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• National Craft Certificate (Level 6) or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in commercial/industrial electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Health & Safety rules and regulations.
• Installations in domestic and commercial properties per rules and regulations.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders to manage interactions within timelines.
• Be the face of MDE Installations and deliver quality service.
• Test equipment to ensure standards are met after installations.
• Ensure customer supply is safe after installations.
• Escalate issues to Line Manager/Supervisors as needed.
• Maintain GDPR-compliant handling of client data.
