Job summary

MDE Group is seeking qualified Electricians to join our team for nationwide electrical framework installations. You will work with Installer teams, Supervisors and our Operational team to ensure efficient on-site delivery of smart meter installations and remedial works.

As an Approved Installer you will maintain first-class customer service, provide advice, and ensure compliance with MDE Group Health and Safety procedures. Driving licence is required and work authorisation for Ireland.

Qualifications

• National Craft Cert Level 6 is required.
• City & Guilds NVQ Level 4 is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience within commercial/industrial sector.
• Ability to work from verbal and written instructions, alone or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Health & Safety rules and regulations.
• Installations into domestic and commercial properties per industry rules.
• Interact professionally with customers, Contact Centre staff, client and internal stakeholders within agreed timescales.

We are seeking qualifiedElectriciansto join our Team

In this role you will be working closely with our experienced Installer teams, Supervisors and with our Operational team to ensure efficient running of the Nationwide Electrical Framework.

The Role

In this role you will be responsible for the installation of smart meters and completion of required remedial works identified on-site. You will be provided with handheld mobile field technology which you will use to update all job details. As an Approved Installer, you will be required to maintain first-class customer service and provide advice to the customer, whilst ensuring compliance with all MDE Group Health and Safety procedures

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of National Craft Cert Level 6/ City & Guilds NVQ Level 4
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience within commercial/industrial sector
• Must be able to demonstrate your experience, good knowledge and good working practices.
• Must be able to work from verbal and written instruction, work alone and/or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance with Health & Safety rules and regulations.
• Full responsibility of Installations into domestic and commercial properties in line with industry/company rules and regulations.
• Installers shall ensure that all interactions with customers, MDE Contact Centre Staff, the client and internal stakeholders are managed within agreed time scales and in a professional manner.
• Installers will be the face of MDE Group and shall provide a quality service.
• Ensure all equipment meets industry standards by completing testing once installs are completed.
• Make sure customers’ supply is in safe working order upon completion of installations.
• Identify and escalation issues to your Line Manager / Supervisors.
• Build excellent working relationships with our Contact Centre Agents, Auditors and Supervisors.
• Maintain the integrity of the client’s customer data, adhering to company’s GDPR compliance.
• Working flexibly when scope or prioritisation changes are made or required.
