Job summary

Proclinical Staffing is seeking a Field Calibration Engineer to support laboratories and manufacturers across Ireland, ensuring precision and compliance of instrumentation.

You will calibrate, certify, and maintain equipment, diagnose faults, and document activities in line with ISO quality systems. A driving licence and an engineering degree are essential.

Qualifications

  • Qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in calibration, service, maintenance, or instrumentation roles.
  • Experience with ISO quality systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out calibration, certification, and preventative maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.
  • Test and calibrate temperature-controlled equipment, temperature probes, and weighing systems.
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs to maintain equipment performance and accuracy.
  • Complete calibration and service documentation in line with quality standards.
  • Work within regulated environments and adhere to quality and compliance requirements.

Are you an engineer who enjoys combining technical expertise with customer interaction, helping laboratories and manufacturers operate with confidence and precision?

Proclinical currently has an exciting Field Calibration Engineer opportunity with a leading provider of laboratory and analytical instrumentation, supporting customers across laboratory, manufacturing, and regulated environments throughout Ireland.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out calibration, certification, and preventative maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.
  • Testing and calibrating temperature-controlled equipment, temperature probes, and weighing systems.
  • Diagnosing faults and performing repairs to maintain equipment performance and accuracy.
  • Completing calibration and service documentation in line with quality standards.
  • Working within regulated environments and adhering to relevant quality and compliance requirements.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Previous experience in a calibration, service, maintenance, or instrumentation role.
  • Experience working within quality systems such as ISO standards.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Full clean driving license.
