Job summary

Point of Care in Ireland seeks an experienced Community Nurse to travel across Leinster, providing on-the-road patient care and home visits. You will manage your own caseload, perform self-injections or venepuncture, and support patients via core community services.

The role requires an RGN, proficiency in phlebotomy, cannulation and infusion, and strong IT and communication skills. A rewarding opportunity within Uniphar's patient-centric care team.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active registration.
• Proficient in phlebotomy and cannulation/infusion.
• Excellent IT skills and ability to work in virtual/phone-based settings.
• Strong communication skills across formats (face-to-face, telehealth).
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out home visits and support self-injections or venepuncture.
• Travel across Leinster to manage own caseload.
• Support patients via clinic and home-based services.
• Develop specialist skills across patient settings within a community care model.
