This is a customer-facing technical role that sits between enterprise buyers and the engineering teams building quantum hardware. It asks for solid Python, Linux, Git and linear algebra, plus the ability to run demos, size up a client's setup and explain dense ideas clearly to executives and engineers alike. A strong candidate has a few years of hands‑on technical work, depth in an area like AI and machine learning, HPC or scientific computing, and real comfort presenting.
AI tools can now draft whitepapers, data sheets and slide decks, and help with scripting and troubleshooting, so the routine parts of preparing and supporting a deployment get faster. What stays human is earning trust with client executives, judging what a customer really needs, and deciding which problems suit a new kind of computer. Since quantum computing is still early, the credibility of the person in the room matters a great deal.
The company builds quantum systems meant to sit alongside standard data center equipment, so the work touches the same environments where AI and HPC workloads run. Someone in this role would learn where quantum could complement classical computing and machine learning, and would see real customer problems up close. To build this experience, practise with open source quantum software in Python and write up small examples that connect quantum ideas to AI or HPC tasks.
